Our LL Wine Bundle consists of 5 delicious wines carefully selected from English wineries, which makes for the perfect wine selection to celebrate that special someone, momentous occasion, or just a great opportunity to sample some beautiful, English wines which you may not otherwise have discovered.
 
The 5 bottles included in this bundle are the Woodchester Valley Rosé Brut, Woodchester Valley Brut (both sparkling), Woodchester Valley Culver Hill 2018, Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve and the Stopham Estate Pinot Gris 2019 white wines.
 
Woodchester Valley Rosé Brut
Woodchester Valley is a beautiful property situated in the Cotswolds, just 15 miles west of Cirencester in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  The winery was established in 2007 by Fiona and Niall shiner and there are now 18 hectares of mainly south-facing, steep vineyards, on limestone soils.  The fruit is all handpicked and then lightly pressed with a slow, cool fermentation to preserve the aromatics and fruit characteristics of the cool climate.  
 
A charmingly well balanced sparkling rosé with delicate bubbles. This wine maintains subtle raspberry and toasted aromas which follow through and linger on the palate.
 
Woodchester Valley Brut
A blend of 75% Seyval Blanc and 25% Pinot Blanc with fresh citrus notes, aromas of red apple and subtle stone fruits, this wine has a great mid-palate structure and a balance that is nicely rounded with good effervescence. The lees ageing brings some aromas of pastry and brioche reminiscent of a delicious apple pie. 
 
Woodchester Valley Culver Hill 2018
Enticing notes of crisp and refreshing citrus and green fruits are beautifully balanced with subtle peach and hints of minerality. The barrel fermented Ortega gives great texture and balance.  A delicious, dry white with a clean and pleasing finish.
 
Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve
Sharpham was in the first wave of modern vineyards to get going after the demise of all commercial vineyards during World War II and has been at the heart of the industry for nearly 40 years.
'Our first vineyard was planted in 1981 on the west bank of the River Dart on the Sharpham Estate.
A further vineyard was planted in 2008 on the east bank of the River Dart on the Sandridge Barton Estate on a site carefully selected for having the best attributes for a vineyard.  This vineyard has grown over the years and supplies the majority of grapes that make Sharpham premium wines.'
 
A new state of the art winery has been built for the production of Sharpham wine on the Sandridge Barton estate, and a future visitor centre is being developed alongside the winery. Our cool climate provides the vines with a long growing season to gently ripen the grapes, preserving wonderful fresh aromas and flavours.
 
This wine is ripe and fruit driven and has a rich profile. Stone fruits such as white peach dominate the nose. The palate is rounded with sweet apricot and a subtle spice on the finish.
 
Stopham Estate Pinot Gris 2019
Stopham are still wine specialists. 'Most of our production is for exciting white wines based on our Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Bacchus grape varieties. We also make sparkling wine with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Our vineyard is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in West Sussex and forms part of the South Downs National Park.'
 
If you like a little sweetness and texture in your wine, then the Stopham Pinot Gris may suit you. It is off-dry, with aromatic peach and pear fruit.
